dyna coils

I have a 81 550 ltd with stock wires and coils. I have been considering some dyna coils and wires and some e3 plugs or something along those lines. Maybe a plug with a larger gap. I don't know what coil to get or if I can make the gap bigger for more spark.engine has some mods like pods and a mac 4 to 1 header that is wrapped, and a dyno jet rejet with a 108 main and a 37 pilot jet.

If it's the stock electronic ignition system, (which is probably the best option if keeping the mechanical advance), then you want Dyna grey 2.2-ohm coils. You can go a tiny bit bigger on the gap maybe like .030" (versus stock .026") and be ok with the coils. If the igniter pops, you can make the HEI one for dirt cheap.

I am getting a acewell speedo/tach and the tach lead goes off the plug wire. I know I can get the copper plug wire or the graphite one that does not flow as well. I just don't want to.mess up the speedo or tach with to much magnetic interference.
