ic igniter

Help I too have made the relay mod although I cant find the sorce for the coils (my 81j 1000 has green red and black and I just cut one red and ran it in to the relay for the triggger) Q? with the dyna S and relay mod do we need the IC igniter? and what color black or white can I run as the trigger for the relay from the dyna S?

OK... you have me thorougly confused. What the heck ignition is in this bike? A Dyna S or OEM IC igniter?


If you have an IC igniter, you can't use a Dyna S and vise versa. If you make clear which type ignition you are using or want to use or whatever, I can help you figure things out as far as wiring the coil relay.
