Anyone know the ohms for a coil for my '78 750B. I need a new coil. I am hoping to find one at a local HD dealer for a decent price.

Sorry for the multiple posts. My computer froze up and I hit the enter key a few times.

So what is the range of ohm's i should look for in a coil? Can I go with a 2.4 ohm coil a 4ohm coil?

Since it's a points type ignition it's not really critical, just stay above two ohms (or use a ballast resister with the coil) and below 4 ohms.
