I tried the whole trailer adaptor thing when I was trying to integrate my brakes and signals/tail light together.
To make a long story short, I bought a welder and two new signal lights a week later and gave away the trailer adaptor.
Wiring is not my forté.

Hey,
In the trailer adaptor, is the common coming from the lights a ground?
If I can get this going, maybe I'll drop my rear turn signals.. I'm going with a dual rear light set up with my new tail now.
Thanks!

aight..new question!
Do the tail light converters come with diodes built in, which would let me run the different power lines to the lights without splicing in diodes into the various lines?
Ie: left turn/stop and the tail lines to the left light connector, and right turn/stop and tail to the right light connector, with the two negative/ground wires coming off the lights into the common ground wire.
like this:
Worst diagram EVAR!! And I know there's only one wire from the converter for the tail power - I'll split it.
