Picked up a new battery from Wallyworld last night. The Wallyworld book said ??12AL2 for the KZ900 but ??14AL2 for the KZ1000. mine is 76 KZ900 but I thought the Kz 1000 battery might be a little heavier duty? Now appears it's a little taller than the ??12AL2.

If it physically fits, should I use it?

4R, Thanks for the info. Very good. Is there any downside to me using the larger of the two, assuming I can shoehorn it in there?

Electrically, there is no problem. It's just physical. Make sure the leads don't short against anything.
