Looks like you got the right diagram for the Dyna III. Sorry about saying it was a Dyna S earlier. The two look similar.

Just an observation... do not use a Splice Connector as shown on your diagram. They are an Isolation Displacement type connection and have been found to be very unreliable by many, many members here. Solder directly and use Shrink Tubing for the best results.

3M and several others make this type of splice,it's a real problem when moisture gets into the metal part and corrosion sets in, making for an intermittent connection.

Try being under a trailer on the side of the road troubleshooting why brake lights and running lights are not working during a heavy rain!

I use the new stile crimp connectors all the time. They now come with a "heat-shrinkable" jacket that once you crimp the connection you heat it up and the outer jacket shrinks around the wire and seals out all moisture.
