wiring diamgrams

does anyone know of a place online where I can get a wiring diagam for my bike, 1980 KZ550C? I hae a Clymer's manual on order, but I am impatient and want to work on this bike.

The PO had done some scarey looking splices that g directly from the battery to the voltage regulator (I thnk it's the VR). I'm not sure why he did this, but I have no electrical power without it in place.

Incase someone is in the know abut this model bike, the wire that has been spliced into is a white wire with a red tracer. That's all I have been able to fnd out so far. I've kinda been waiting for that manual.
