Handlebar controls / switches

I've been doing a bunch of work on my '77 1000LTD lately,
and took the handlebar switches off in the process of changing out handlebars. My plan was to freshen them up with a new squirt of paint. Well, I re-learned what I already knew. You take apart something that is 30 years old, and your chances are pretty good that something is gonna crumble. In this case, the plastic that headlight switch knob attaches to. Anybody have a left hand control to sell or know a good source? This is the type with the individual bullet connectors. Thanks!

Just replace the left unit with a new K&S control they are beautiful and they have quite a few to chose from. I love mine.

Z1 has the KZ900 controls.... ~ $45, may work on yours...

Thanks for the info guys- however I lucked out better than I had imagined possible... went on kawasakipartsnation.com, got the part number from the fische, and actually found what was apparently the last one in the country at a dealer for about $100. SOMETIMES things work out!

how much for the k and l controles i have to replace my switches .. where did you purchase your switches otkar??

I looked on their website but found no pricing info. The best place for stuff like this, in my opinion, is Ebaymotors. You might get lucky like I did if you visit
Kawasakipartsteam.com I found my part number, called their number, and they were able to run a dealer locate & give me the number to a dealer that had my switch in stock.

Wow, That's a lot of money to spend.

Is there a right hand one that would work from k and s? I have the opposite problem, my left unit is fine while the right one is poopy.
