Ignition or fuses?
02 Apr 2006 19:49
My tail light will not work and if I turn the key to the third position on the ignition my bike shuts off. SO would the problem be in the ignition or the fuses?

I think there should only be one position where your bike runs.
There's "off", "run", and "off with tail light on" as a parking light.

Yip...same as My bike.
LTD...does Your taillight come on with the key in the third position?I'm thinking not,if it's not coming on in the "Run" position, but thought We had better narrow that down,to rule out the bulb, but like mentioned...check the bulb AND the fuse. You should have 3 fuses in Your fusebox(main, head, and tail).
Good luck and let Us know whatYou find.
