Do you have a wiring diagram? It should tell you what color wiring goes to the left and right handlebar switches.
On most Kawasaki's, the headlight housing has a majority of electrical connectors for the ignition switch and headlight.
The clutch lever interlock switch can be there along with the mentioned handlebar switches.
The main harness has to be routed to avoid overstressing the wiring and quick failure.

Actually I do have a wiring diagram, had to dig around my external hard drive to find it lol. From looking at it, I now know I have the regulator.

The Wiring harness was confusing me, and now I know why. It is from an '80 750E1. Will I have any major problems trying to use this harness? From comparing the wiring diagrams, the wiring seems to be mostly the same but I have no experience in these matters.
