Looking for information on doing a Electronic ignition conversion on my 78 KZ400. Anyone know who makes a kit for this year and model bike?

You may be able to adapt the pieces from an electronic ignition model. I'm sure some of the guy's would have this knowledge already. It would probably be the cheapest and be easy to do. There are some other posts for using pick up's and and Igniter from the auto trade, ie Chevy HEI.
Good luck and Get Rid Of The Points so you can set it and then forget it as it should be maintenance free, that means more riding time. Points are for the Die Hard restorer as they are always wearing through the best setting as well as pitting causing weak coil charging time: "DWELL"
