Installing dyna wires into dyna coils
03 Aug 2009 00:33
I'm putting new 3.0 Ohm Dyna coils and wires on my 1000st and I'm not sure if the ends of the plug wires that are being installed into the coils need to be stripped first so that there is bare wire connecting or if a straight cut end will conduct the charge fine. Any help is appreciated!

I always strip about 3/4 inch and bend it up and then put on the end. Roy

Same here as Roy mentioned.... Strip, then bend up and back under the metal clip....
I guess it may also depend on the plug wires you're using... They should have provided you some instructions with the new wire set... Mine did anyways....
