Oil leak and now no electrical

I have an 83 KZ550. I parked it after cleaning the jets and riding and know oils was coming out of somewhere pretty good and now when I turn the key on no power. But all fuses are fine?? Thinking I the oil leak got something wet. Obviously have to fix whatever causing the leak but what do you think happened with the power.

Thanks in advance.

Did you take off the tank? May have yanked a wire under it.

Did you mess with the airbox? Or do you even have an airbox?
If you accidently blocked the crankcase breather or knocked off it's connection to the airbox, then it might blw a little bit of oil over the top of the motor. If it's blocked, the oil will start blowing out of some of the engine seals.

I think we'd need some more details on where the oil leak is to help you out..

Fuse holder clips sometimes look good and clean but do not conduct well. Clean well with fine wire brush. If problem persists be prepared to replace the fuse box... preferably the newer blade fuse type.

Best of success. :)
