kz1100 stator need help

hello
on the kz1100 all the wires coming out of the stator are all the same color,how do you know which ones to plug them into it has to make a difference don't it

No, it doesn't make any difference if the unit is good. I believe it is the AC output of a three phase winding so the wire order doesn't matter. If you are ohming them out to check for problems, you may want to mark them so you know what readings went where.

If the wires are all yellow in color, it makes no difference.
Only on the earlier Z1's and KZ900's was phase a concern.

all the wires on the original stator and the bike are all white and i can go back out and check but i am pretty sure they are all white with a black stripe,the other cover i got to put on there all yellow,i am gonna probally start a new thread ,now i have another problem i pulled the starter gear off and it s a good thing i did,where the locator or positioning pin that is in the stator cover and goes thru the gears and into the engine case,the casing where the guide pin goes in the block is cracked in two spots,i should post a pic to show what i am talking about,i will take a pic of both stators and wires
