Starter Rebuild Kit - Bare Brush Wires?
16 Jun 2009 07:58
I bought a rebuild kit for the starter on my 76 KZ750 - everything looked good except one of the brushes was bare wired - the other one was sleeved/insulated. Has anyone come across this before? does it make a difference? Can I insulate it myself?
Here's the link, the one in the picture shows two insulated brushes. Again, one of mine is bare. Seller says that's how they come now.?? tr.im/oFF3
