fried plugs

I have an 80 KZ1000LTD. Twice a season I have to change the spark plugs. As the go bad the bike will idle rough and lower than normal when cold. After a minute or two of warming up the rpms rise and the idle smoothes out. When I pull the plugs the insulator is white and the electrode is pitted and produces a weak spark. I tried richening the fuel/air mixture, raising the jet needles with the same results. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If believed running too lean, could check service fuel level in float bowl using clear tube test method. A too low fuel level can cause too lean fuel mixture.

Good Luck! :)

sounds like you have some cracks in your intake manifolds or are leaking somewhere are all plugs the same if they are it also could be a fuel related problem what type of fuel are you using.
