Victory motorcycle Turn signals?????
18 Feb 2009 17:06
Anyone ever use victory turn signals on their old Kaw? I bought four today to replace mine on my 1980 KZ750 and the light just comes on no flashing..... I have read that an electronic flasher may be needed if its a low power signal or something like that but where and how do you hook it up?

I'd think a simple replacement of the old flasher relay with a new electronic one would be all that's needed.
Any good auto parts store should be able to provide an electronic flasher. If not www.waytekwire.com or www.delcity.net can.

I've run into something similar and had to use a load equalizer.

What happens with the old relay and the bike running?

Hey guys thanks to my very smart father in law I fixed my problem without even having to buy anything!!!!!! Okay there are two flashers one for the signals which is based on a constant load, and one for the hazards which is for a variable load so the hazards will work with whatever load I put the flasher relay on the signal side and vuala...... I have signals!!!!!! while running and while not running everything works great!!!!!! So not sure it has to do with the electronic and whatnot but the flasher load............
