Gas gauge install need help

Have any 1 install a gas gauge / meter on any KZ1000 77 bike or any kz bike. Man sometimes I forget to use trip ammeter.

The only ones I've seen, are the old fashion ones that are a chain float type that replaces your gas cap. It has the gauge built into the cap.
I used to have one but I have no idea what happened to it.
1974 900 Z1 modified to look like a LTD , some engine mods. But I still have all the original parts.
1977 1000 project bike
1972 H1 project bike
If pro is opposite of con, then what is the opposite of progress?

Yep that's it !!! I had two around here at one time. I've found one box that the new one was in.. but I can seem to find either of them:S
One was on the Z1 when I got it, and was sun faded and the "glass/ plastic" face was cracked, and the other was new in the box.

my kz1000p has a float in the tank and a gauge on the instrument cluster. maybe you can get a kz1000p tank and modify the gauge to fit on your bars or where ever..
