Are front and rear turn signals swichable?
15 Feb 2008 22:19
This may be a dumb question but, i was wondering if i could use stock rear turn signals from a 77 650b, for fron turn signals on a 74 z1 900. I was also wondering if the headlight was a direct swap, mainly because the 650 has a halogen headlight. Thanks

Some turn signals are two wire while others also function as running lights and have three wires. With a little inventiveness they're all switchable. Regarding the headlights there are halogen conversions for the old incandescent headlights. I converted my KZ900 to halogen without changing the fixture itself.

A while back, Loudhvx sent me this diagram that will allow the 2-wire rear lights to remain on like the front 3-wire lights on the '84-> GPz550. Maybe it will help?
