Coils with MSD Ignition??

Coils with MSD Ignition??

My old Andrews coils need replaced and I have been browsing for replacements. The 3.0 ohm dynas seem to be the most popular (when removing the stock ballast resistor).

Has anyone run lower impedance coils with an MSD ignition? If I'm reading my manual correctly, it seems to say the lower the better. Here's what it says:

I don't have extra space for the MSD coils. Should I go for the 1.5 ohm dyna coils??

IIRC, the MSD ignition is a CDI, so it seems to me that coils designed for a CDI ignition should work.

I'd go with the 1.5 ohm coils of whatever brand you prefer.
