TOPIC:

i'm ready to give up, i put my electical tester on the positive + post on my battery terminal, then turn the key on and stick the other in my headlight clip (i'v tried all three) they all rate at 12.8 volts

its like this everywhere, negative power where positive should be, the starter solinoid shows that its working when i check it backwards.

every clip in the igniton switch plug has negative running through it.

my guess, and only guess is that a positive wire got melted by my negative igniter wire and is picking up off of that or something else, anyone else have any ideas for an electical noob.

its not the fuse box, i unhooked it and still found negative running around

i'm going to have some captain and coke to calm down befor i take a BFH to my bike.

What did you do right before this? What changes have you made? What were you working on last?

You have a wire grounded to the frame somewhere, I'd start looking at the wiring under the tank.

i fix'd it, i found another burnt wire.

this is my third topic on this damn thing.
