Ok sorry guys I am sure this has been covered but I did a search and I keep coming up with the wrong things. I need to know the spark plug gap for a 1979 kz650. I am going to get new plugs and just want to make sure they are gapped right.

Mine have always been .032. From ngk's web site ( ngk.com ), it looks like they all are.

Well I am glad I asked I measured the gap the plugs were at and they were all around the .020-.025 range. Maybe this thing will run a little better now. It fire right up without any hesitation or choke so thats a good start.

Under your seat it shows what gap you should have. Mine is on .36. I used to have it on 38 one time and it back fired alot. Under your seat has all the instructions you will ever need, basically the bike has instructions written all over it!
