1980, I think.

But, you say you need coils. The stock coils are 4 ohm primary and the Dyna coils are 3 ohm which I think will work with points.

Points tuneup kits are readily available.

BSKZ650 Offline User Posts: 2064 Thank you received: 14	if you are going to spend the bucks to run a turbo, why not upgrade to the dyna system, you will get better fire from it and a lot more reliable 77 kz650, owned for over 25 years 77 ltd1000, current rider 76 kz900, just waiting 73 z1,, gonna restore this one piglet, leggero harley davidson SR, Ride captian, S.E.Texas Patriot Guard Riders.. AKA KawaBob
