Can a points plate off of a kz 650 work on a kz1000??:S
1977 KZ 1000
4-1 Headder
K&N filter

Hmmmmm...I seem to remember something about that mentioned here.I think,with some notching where the mounting screws go,You might be able to.
I know it WAS mentioned,but it may have been the other way around,as in a points plate from a 1000,working on a 650.
Basically,with some modifying,I think it would work.

I've got a Boyer Bransden electronic ignition system sitting on a shelf...let Me know if You're interested in it.

I don't think so, as the 650's is a smaller diametre than the 1000's.
I went the other way 1000 Electronic into my 650, link below.
