Wiring Harness- 82 KZ550a3

Hello everyone, rookie here, luv the site! Picked up a project bike, 82 Kawasaki kz550 a3. Needs a wire harness, picked one up on ebay but its for a 81. Anyone know if this is an exact fit or if it will work, what mods will i need, etc? Also, anyone have a downloadable wiring diagram? Havent picked up a manual yet, or even touched the bike yet, waiting on as much info as i can get first.. Thanks for any help!

The wiring diagram for the '82 KZ550A3 is listed HERE in the filebase on the site.
I believe the wiring diagram for the '81 is in there also.

Should be almost the same electrically, but the connectors may be different, according to the 2 diagrams I briefly looked at.

The 1980 A1 was significantly different though.
