If the possitive wire going to the coil is getting juice but there is no spark from the wires, plugs it means the coils is bad right?

You can have full power to the coil positive terminal, but it will not work if the ground terminal wire does not fully complete the circuit. Check your ground connector resistance (against the engine case metal). If it shows anything other than near 0 ohms, you have a ground problem.

Also if the set of points (assuming you have points) is not functioning that are attached to that coil, no sparky. Read this thread, might have some relevance.
