When you say "orignial", you mean a set with the Kawasaki "K" on them and stamped number code? Not just blanks cut for you, right?
Steering lock should be the same as the rest, if yours is different, I'd bet they've been changed...

Yep, I've used those guys. They are one of the two online key-making shops I've used and recommend. I was just wondering if he's not inclined to have a "copy", since he explicitly wrote "original"...

gum Topic Author Offline User Posts: 26 Thank you received: 0	Thanks, yes you are all correct, my bike [ Z1A] does not have a key at all. The seat lock says #793, im after the plastic original keys, x 2. Its a wreck at the moment, but complete and will be restored. Thanks.

You need specific blanks, but the hardware store you deal with may actually have them. They differ throughout the years of our bikes.

I have had luck in the past with eBay sellers who find stocks of ORIGINAL keys, as well as certain on-line vendors who will cut a nice set for you and ship them to your door.
