I had got a KZ650B2 running for my good buddy TheFlyingGreek over the winter. Runs great, he loves it!

Today he had an electrical fire! The seat latch slider had fallen out and caught on a wire going from the battery positive to the fuse box! This shorted the battery to the frame through that wire, shooting flames up from under the seat and melting most of the main wiring harness!

I figure the damage looks like it was contained to just the wire from battery to fuse, and some heat made it down the main harness, but it doesnt look like anything else was damaged. I'm thinking of just finding a KZ650B2/C2 main harness and dropping it in. Is there anything else I should check?

Anyone have a spare KZ650B2/C2 harness lying around we can repair and drop into his bike?

Hey buddy.

Looks like the perfect time for the blade fuse mod/upgrade. I told you you should have taken the whole bike back with you. PM me if you want the harness.
