OK, I have yet another question. My KZ550C3 front turn signals have three wires, the back have two. When the key is on, the fronts light at all times, the back do not. They all flash appropriately. Is this normal?

On your model, yes. Older bikes didn't have the front running lamps. The rear turn signals have a gray wire (hot and it might be light green) and a black/yellow ground. The front do as well but have a two contact bulb holder. The one contact also has the gray lead but the other lead is a blue lead which is coming off the switch ed blue sub-circuit that also powers your headlight. The blue goes to your headlight hi/lo beam switch and then red/black and red/yellow wires come off the switch and go to the headlight bulb holder.
