Auto meter tach

also Im putting on a tach on my 75 prostreet kaw , says to cut the brown wire if its a single pulse? for the calibration and if its a 2 pluse you dont cut. I have no idea what i have, also the green wire goes to the coil on the negitive side I have the dyna coils (green) I cant tell witch is the pos or neg terminals.

I only understand 1 thing that you are talking about and if I am correct, the green wire is sometimes the negative and the red or yellow wire is positive.

we have the dual pulse or a wasted spark type
it fires the plugs at tdc compression AND tdc overlap so 2 times per power cycle
my coils arent marked either so I picked one + and the other - and did both the same --it works for me power on one side and crank signal /tach on the other
