Need Coil Info.
23 Feb 2007 10:18
I am going to replace the coils on my 1980 KZ1000 ST project bike, and I have looked at different sites for coils and they advertise different ohm values for them. What would my bike use?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Believe you need these 3 ohm coils, but if in doubt, give Z1E a call before ordering.

Does your bike already have electronic ignition? If not, now might be a good time. Z1 Ent. carries them too. Made a noticable difference in my bikes performance.

dyna, accel or andrews make good coils
the 3 ohm coils work with points, stock electronic ignition, or Dyna S ignition.
