electronic stock ignition with advacer help

can anyone tell me what would i need to use this on my 77KZ1000,electronic stock ignition with advacer from a
1981'Kawasaki CSR-1000/KZ-1100/LTD i saw one on ebay and wondering if i could us it stand alone like a dyna or if i need other components any help would be great

Click the link in my signature that says "kz1000 elec. Ign."

I did this change on my '78 650.

One difference in your case would be the advancers. They should be a dirrect swap, with no modifcations needed.
As well, the back plate would be a dirrect swap, where as the 650's is smaller.

The one from a 750 would use the smaller mounting plate like the 650, so mounting it on a 1000 can be tricky. I could make the 1000's smaller to fit my 650, but how are you gonna make one bigger to fit the 1000? You may be able to use your existing mounting plate, but there are holes that would need to be drilled and tapped for the differences between the points and pick-up coils.
