Carb Issues 1978 SR

Are the new carb to head rubbers oem or repop? If they are repop the rubber is very soft and the vac port caps are also very soft.
The vac port spigot rubbers are notorious for being a sloppy fit and definately need clips to get them to seal. 
Also if your intake rubbers are repop and your not running an airbox to help support the carbs from both sides you need to fabricate some straps to ensure carb bounce doesn't occur as the repop rubbers will split at the tube to plate joint.
