just wonder what the settings are on my pepcock as its hard to read what its says now.. if someone could draw a pic or somthin that would be cool

Well in this setting the home team usually scores! Sorry I couldn't help it. It's Petcock. Yep! Looks like a joke and sounds like a joke but it is Petcock.
There are 2 kinds and both have 3 settings. A gravity feed petcock has a on...off....reserve. To run motorcycle have it in the on position. When bike is not running have it on off and when you are running with it on the on position and it runs out of gas change it to reserve and get thee to a gas station.
A vacume petcock has reserve, on and prime. You don't have an off because a vacume line runs to the petcock and stops the fuel when the bike is not running. The prime is for when your carb bowls are dry. It is a free flow and should not be used after the bike is running smoothly. Hope that helps.

richie, on mine, lever down is run, straight across is off, lever up - reserve. I dont know where the lever points to to find one of gris'es pepcocks but if I find out, I wont tell you.:woohoo:

and whats worse is on the higher cc kz's the petcock screws to the bung.;)
