Fired up bike yesterday first time since assembly, not liking the original vacuum petcock, does the Pingel sold by Z1 Ent bolt directly on 78 KZ1000 with stock carbs? No fitment mods for it to work?
Thanks
Mike

I bought the pingle petcock and the adapter plate then all there was to do was enlarge the hole in the tank that the old petcock went threw.

Mount the plate then screw in the petcock add fuel line fule filter. Dont forget to turn off your new petcock or it will vapo lock and wash out your rings. In the event that you do forget. Drain your oil and change your filter I have herd these bikes can become a bom.

Since there's a post already, I was just curious if the low end "made exclusively for Z1Enterprises" has a high enough fuel flow for a kz750 e3? I know I will need an adapter plate, but I need to replace the vaccuum petcock because it leaks in prime and res positions now.

Cool tyvm. I had one of the old ones on my kz250 D1, and it worked well for that, but the 750 suck up gas a little quicker. I just wanted to be sure. :)

Absolutely is vacuum, stock, 2 fuel lines, 1 vacuum line, it's an A2A, maybe different from an A2 IDK.

I'll start off with Jeff (Z1) has already replied in regards to the cheaper petcock units they sold where faulty O-ring/diaphragm or something to that effect was acknowledged... They would drip fuel into the fuel line in off position. Assumption is this has been corrected.

Same time, go with the Pingel units no doubt... Worth every dime in my book. They cost about twice the price but you do get what you pay for. Well made! ;)

OK, with that said, they do offer Power Flow Vacuum Petcocks but unknown for your model. You most likely will have to do some mod/tweaking on your tank opening. Most of their petcocks come with adapter plates.

You'll have to do the research, here's the link....
