WOW!!! thanks for all the info. I am having trouble with the stem coming down into bowl from top it is off to the side but sticks down like the center air stem only it has a small hole at bottom goes to the throat other than that they are clean.

i have some carbs with the ribs on a 77 650 and they mesure 26mm on the inside of the throat and 31.5 on the outside of the throat , both mesurements taken on the side that goes into head boots . seems everybody is saying 22s and 24s have the ribs . do i have 26mm or 32 or what ? not my bike just restoring for a client . anybody?

I also have a extra set of ribbed 26 mm id carbs. 26 on intake side.
it goes to show there's no absolute.
But I'd like to know if the 24 mm intake manifolds that are on the bike.
will accept the 26 carbs or should i buy the kz 1000s 26 mm intake manifolds.

show me a picture of a stock set of 26mm carbs with ribs on them,ive played with big bore kaws for 30 years never seen a set of 26s that could be confused with the 24s
