The drain bolt was one thing I looked at, but to eliminate the possibility of a bowl swap, look at the air side of the inside of the carb. The only KZ carbs I've seen with 5 passages along the bottom rim of the carb are the 29mm smoothbores. All 26 and 28mm I've seen have 2-3 passages, like the bottom set of carbs. Anyone else with me? I offered the guy $100 and he took it. I'll double check for the sqaure casting when I pick them up to be sure, but I think I have a winner here :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

The square cast into the bodies is the easiest and most certain way to tell. Check the right side of each carb body. Otherwise, they look like the real deal. Send me your email and I'll give you triple what you paid....now that's a big profit!

even if the jet blocks are screwed, 100 bucks is a steal....our boy george does block repairs....even paying for that, you are ahead of the game....they look clean also.....to put it in perspective bargain wise, about a year and a half ago, i bought a set off of ebay that were bought new in the early 90's, ran for a bit, and stored for years.very nice set and still had dabs of yellow paint on the screws holding the throttle shaft in.....they dont get much better and i paid 800......i havent checked prices lately though.....
