Only $28.00 what is the risk? Does anyone here think it can damage the bike? That is what I would be worried about. I would measuer the temp of the exhaust pipes before and after. But it is worth a try...Russ

FYI: when I was dialing the new pipes in on my 750 twin, I had to tweak the needles and jets and I did notice running it extra rich did give it more power especially the torque at lower RPM when rolling on the throttle from steady speed. But, gas mileage dropped and it was rich enough to foul spark plugs sometimes so the power isn't worth it. Riching up the mix on a modern bike might make it run stronger because they are set up a shade lean to reduce emissions.
I doubt if it would hurt the bike because I suspect it's designed to make the bike run richer. If it made it run leaner, I guess it might hurt it. After you install it, check the spark plugs to make sure their color is still OK.Only $28.00 what is the risk? Does anyone here think it can damage the bike? That is what I would be worried about. Well guys- it's a 5K Ohm resistor in a little box sealed with epoxy to prevent discovery. I had the unit x-rayed at my dentists office to see threw the epoxy and measured the value. It fools the ECU into thinking that the outside air temperature is about 38f. But we already knew this. Now to return it and get my 110% refund as advertised, HA HA Yeah that'l be the day. I will actually enjoy making this statement in his feedback and exposing him.

He'll probably argue that by buying the item you entered into a Non-Disclosure Agreement and he'll now threaten a law suit for revealing your discovery. :S

I have a few innate talents. I think that I am a pretty good mechanic and I have been told so also. My other talent, or something that I am really, really, good at is being a major A** Hole. Matter of fact I believe that I excel at it. ( I would have been a good Cicero cop) I will take extreme pleasure in tormenting this fraud.  :woohoo: It is worth the $15 I paid for the unit in intertainment value alone.
