I am thinking the carbs on the 84 GPz900 are 36s. In any case, if you want to use constant velocity carbs, try some BS34s. If you want a challenge, rerack the Keihin GPz carbs. You will find that it might be more of a challenge than you initially think as the sync arm paddles won't align and you will have to modify the rod that works the choke plungers. Not saying it can't be done but just not worth the effort, imho. The slanted bowls are the kiss of death. I don't think they can be made to work because I have tried... wg

No, the 84 GPz900 carbs are painted (actually powder coated) and look pretty much like BS34s. I think they are 36mm by the way but am not positive.

well i re- racked them to a point. (used some aluminium angle) tomorrow i fix the sync tab and choke slide bar but my next question would be the fuel tee needs to be longer now any suggestions on what would fit?

also bs34 did they come stock on the j models?

Can you just fit tubing between the T's to take up the space?

actually thats what im' gonna try but i need to cut the tee and it doesn't give much "bite" room with the fuel hose.
if this doesn't worl im looking at making one from scratch i guess.
