Had frabricated a simple adaptor with a nipple to replace the petcock,a friend turned one on a lathe ,it looks like a fat washer(around 3/8" thick) with a half inch nipple at the center, drilled 2holes to match the mount screws, had to remove some material on one side to clear the lip of the tank, and used gaskets I cut from a piece of neoprene sheet. I used an in line fuel petcock used for boats, coz it was the cheapest I could find.Used the setup for a few months while I was waiting for a decently priced petcock (new ones are expensive). And still being used now by a friend with tank setup problems.
