That's cool Joe, who built the car? When are you going to have it back on the track again?

thanks josh. my dad has 4 cars. he races 1, i race 1, and my bro races 2. one is newly built. its a 95 camary indi pace car converted into a drag car. i guess modding runs in the fam. then he has a fiberglass 1 piece body corevette with a 5 something bb, runs 950 at 150 mph. then my brother drives a j stock automatic 85 camaro, at runs 11.34 at 120 i think. then i drive the 68...you know what that runs.

when will it my 68 run again? well thats up to dad. i could never afford to drag race. maybe later on in life, or maybe my bike build for fun in the future. but its $$$. i cant even begin to explain. he has the International, sides pop out 5th wheel that drags a 40' under over car trailer. i think he might have hidden $ when he was a cop back in the day....maybe.

well now im just rambling.....good pot....:pinch:

ill ask him....i am itching to get back in. dad spends the $$$, and my brother and i turn wrenches. my brother and him raced this year, but did really bad. maybe next year. i would have to say my lil brother is the best out of all of us. then again drag racing is a lot of luck, and a little skill. imo.

You're Dad sounds like my uncle. He runs three cars and spends cubic dollars. I'm not much of a drag racer, but I think the cars are cool. Click the link to see my uncle's Blown Fuel altered car: www.angelfire.com/tx/fuelcarfan/texasblownfuel/breiten.html

ill try and keep an updated thread here, with all types of drag cars and such. feel free to do the same. its nice to take my eyes of a bike...., but only for a second...

depending on this build going half ass smoothly, i am seriously debating on doing a drag bike next. well see. i have high hopes and bigger dreams. Joe

Very cool thread...I was raised on drags on the west coast...San Fernando Raceway, Lion's, Orange County, and Bakersfield. I loved it.

Nice cars...I'm not much into the Super classes but will sit and watch Competition and Pro-Stock all day. Really like when the super classes started and everyone had a different way of getting job done but now...I just can't sit there and watch a car leave the line...die for a second or two...and then back on the throttle. Can't wait to get to the track this year. Been too long without a fix...lol
