1327cc KZ engine setup for drag racing. Could be used as a spare or for salt flats.

Early Z1 head w 37/31 valves Pro ported to 110CFM int 95CFM exh
34.8cc combustion chambers with 19cc piston domes - 16:1 static comp ratio
8mm exhaust stud upgrade
MTC big block with Oring wires
Cometic copper head/base gaskets
APE case studs, cyl studs/nuts
480/460 cams with APE sprockets and APE 520 springs (long life type)
GPZ750 shim under buckets with 650 retainers
welded KZ1000 crank with 4140 support cap
MRE lock up clutch (comes with tuning extras)
5 spd FBG race cut trans
air shifter bushing
oil pan gate with oil filter cover lowered 

Asking $2300 USD for full engine

I have to say, given that I have just spent close to $2k to build a mildly tuned J motor with “used” pistons and cams I think that is a bargain

The pistons, valves, and cams are used but the rings are new. The engine has zero hours on it, and has never been started.

The head has been skimmed and the ports opened up then flow checked by a guy who knows drag heads.

It requires C16 racing gas to start it. It has as much compression as my alcohol engine and I believe alcohol is around 130 Octane.
Locally C14 is $300 for a 5 gallon drum, so you really need to anticipate if you want to start and tune one of these setups.
For the same size drum M1 Methanol is about 1/2 that price.
