1977 KZ650B-003 After a few years, getting ready to part out. Central Ohio area

Hello all. I really haven't been a participating member for a few years. I got a 77' KZ650 from a family member who passed in 2020. He owned the bike since 78/79. He put app 20K miles on it riding it through 48 of the 50 states. I rode it back to my house, which was about 100 miles back in 2020. My intention was to tear it apart and rebuild it. During Covid, I had the time and I did rebuild the front forks, (seals/springs) front brake (Caliper and rotor) and wheel completely (bearings, tube, tire) and I stopped there. It didn't stop me from buying new parts that I haven't installed. I think the only non-OEM parts on the bike might have been the exhaust. The Ser # is KZ650B-003 637.

I'm starting here before I list a million things on Ebay. If there is something that is difficult to get for these bikes and you are looking for something, just reach out. I live in central Ohio and work in Columbus, OH, so if you'd like to meet up, I can do that as well. I have everything from the original under seat vehicle book, tool set, all the way to engine carbs, air box, whatever. I'll be getting a list of parts that I have that are brand new. 

If I've posted anything improperly, just let me know. I just wanted to touch base with enthusiasts first and if you looking for something specific, I'm sure we can come up with a price you'll be happy with. It was a complete running bike when I started on it, so what's missing in the pics, I have in a box! Thanks guys. Mike K.

I am in need of a rear tail light lens for my 77 KZ1000 ,I think the 650 are the same, if anyone knows what other models fit a KZ1000 please chime in.

I need to find out if my B1 has an airbox or not. If it does not, I would VERY much like to get that. That may take a few days because my friend who has it is out of town and so is the bike. Would also be interested in the seat depending on what you want for it

That bike is in nice shape . Its a shame you have to part it out . Have you thought about selling as a project? Unfortunately, its way to far away for me.

I've got it pretty tore down and I just don't have the time. I have a BMW K1600 GA that preoccupies my time, but I just want the good parts of this bike to be used for bikes that people will put on the road!!

You perhaps should heed riturbo's advise!! Sell it as a whole! Think about the time it's going to take stripping/photo'ing/listing and how much space it's going to take up once scattered about. Then all the money ebays going to remove off the top. What's going to happen, let me know, is You'll sell a few key parts and that's it..You'll be left with a pile of stuff that you can't even give away. Good luck either direction though! Does it have paper on it, read title? 

I absolutely have the title. The original my uncle had from the late 70's. Lol!!

Alright, I'll take your advice!! If anyone is interested in seeing what I have, feel free to reach out to me and I can show you what I have. I'm just east of Columbus OH. If someone wanted the entire bike, I'm sure the deal we'd work out would be worth your time!! I have the Ohio title in hand.

I have my uncle's 77' KZ 1000 LTD that he bought in 78'. I will pass it to my son when I can't ride it anymore. 
I insure it through Haggerty and they have a legacy program for vehicles that have been in the family since new. It is a few dollars extra (not even enough for the wife to notice) and if I wreck it I get paid off and get to keep the bike. I also have his 84' Honda Sabre 700S on the same deal.
