So,mind changed. Not going for a steel stand. For now,I just built a wooden one. Very basic but enough to ease stripping the old paint off the block. Not sure yet how I'm going to go with the new paint. 2 component high temp epoxy is looking good at the moment. No need to heat cure it,which gets rid of that problem.Either way, It dawned on me that hanging the engine (for painting) is maybe better than having it on a stand.
Anybody have experience with the 2 component engine paint?
