Rubber replacement ;-)

It was time to replace the front tire, and since I didn't want to have to dismantle the exhaust system *yet again* just to be able to mount the center stand, I had to come up with a solution. The plan was to mount a sort of pivoting jib crane to the garage wall... My best friend happened to have some spare materials and time on his hands, so we quickly whipped up just such a pivoting lifting arm. I still had a good manual chain hoist lying around, and now removing the front wheel is child's play once again—just like it used to be back in my old workshop.

Materials List:
1 piece of rectangular tubing, 80 x 40 x 4 mm, length 750 mm,
2 angle irons, 100 x 100 x 10 mm,
2 x welded-in Ø 16 x 1 mm tubes 2 x bolts, Ø 12 mm x 120 mm

Bolted on the wall with 4 special anchor bolts.

No, i used a strap around the center frametube near the steering head,..works great, have done it this way all the years before in my former ( a lot bigger), garage.
Makes pulling the fork or complete front end much easier....!
