Without a centerstand on my LTD I am interested in one of these to make rear wheel cleaning easier. This just happens to be HF's version. Comments? www.harborfreight.com/motorcycle-wheel-c...cEAQYASABEgK4QfD_BwE

Isnt that for a car? With the bike on the side stand, the tire will want roll off center and roll over the edge. Sounds like a mishap waiting to mishappen. :) I think a swingarm stand would be better.

My brother got one for his bike and loudhvx is right. When you spin the wheel and it will start to move to one side of the roller. I think trying to get a centerstand fit is worth the effort.

You might look into a rear axle stand. I've only used one once on my brothers bike and it was quite awhile ago. Something like this, not a spool stand.

I thought the tire might move sideways when turning, that's why I asked. A swingarm stand wont work with the oem LTD exhaust. It is to far back and to low. And when the stand pivots the angle of the stand will/hits the exhaust. I tried. I have one similar to what Matt linked.

I bought this lifter for a quick tire cleaning and chain Service, you can lift the front and rear or both with some wood supported under the Frame/engine.
Lift 1100lbs. Price is 35 - 45 Euro incl. shipping in Germany

Don't want a lift. I already have one for my HD RoadGlide that I don't use.

I have used that Harbor Freight roller extensively. It works ok, you just have to be careful. Find a block of wood for the sidestand so the extra height doesn't cause the bike to lean over further. Also, you can put the roller at a slightly different angle to the wheel so that the tendency to move sideways is counteracted. Obviously, you are not trying to turn the wheel with the engine running in 5th gear at 7500rpm, just turn the wheel slowly by hand with the engine off in neutral and stop and re-adjust if things start to go wrong. Simple as that.

I use a Pitbull rear swingarm stand for my RZ500. Works great.

Like I said above, a swingarm stand won't work with the LTD's oem low and farther back exhaust.

Had a coupon for this @ $17.99 so I decided to give it a try this morning. So far I am satisfied with it. A block under the stand helps.

I got one of these and use 2 large eye bolts in it and line them up with the main stand eyes and put two pins through.

The manomano website has some interesting things on it. Wish it was in English so I could read what the stuff was for.
