Never thought much about ever changing from the old carb stick (first tool I bought (81) along side with the manual and tickle charger) but after it fell apart and leaked out the mercury I went with one of these and am glad I did.

Mine work fine but I protect it. One of those may be in my future though. We'll see.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI got this one and it couldnt be simpler.

Two disadvantages of it are you cant take an actual vacuum reading, and you can only do 2 carbs at a time. But it is stupid simple to use and VERY cheap. I took a short video when I did mine, just showing it working. The vid was actually too short so I had to slow it down so it would last more than 3 seconds :)

I got my Carbtune direct from Morgan www.carbtune.com/ Nobody short of getting a used one will give you a better price because they all get them at the factory pricing.Got it in 1 week from Northern Ireland to Canada's far west coast.Getting the case is a good investment as it keep it all in one place.Never use my old mercury Motion Pro stix again.

After you get them back from George you may have to rebuild them totally. I've seen some of his work before and buyer beware.

Even if he's got em bench sync'd close buy the time you get em on they will probably be made closer by using the gauges..... and besides a little down the road you will need to re do em again anyway........ and I got my set from the factory quick and just under a 100 too but I now see Ebay is very close to this now.

Ok, thanks.

Everything I've heard about WG has been positive so I'm guessing that Nessism was joking.

George (WG) used to be a member here until several other members got really bad service from him. If the really old discussions are still accessible, you should be able to find several long, angry discussion threads.
