Mobile work bench

I built this bench entirely from recycled 3/4 subfloor plywood.
The only costs were the casters and the GFI.

Right now it's in my walk out basement next to the bike but I can wheel it out to work on stuff in the drive way and stash it in the garage when I'm done.

1980 LTD 1000..,1976 LTD 900, have the 1000&900 now. the rest are previous= 1978 KZ 650 B.., 1980 Yamaha XT 500..,1978 Yamaha DT 400.., 1977 Yamaha yz 80..,Honda trail ct 70.., Honda QA 50...5-1/2 hp brigs & straton CAT chopper mini bike...3-1/2 hp mini bike (WHEN GAS WAS ABOUT 45 CENTS A GALLON)!!!!

Hell Blue... Attach a temp ramp on that well built beast, roll/drive the bike up nice and high for service and sell them on e-bay...

GFI :unsure: Ground Fault Interrupter?

On a side note -- and without having ever reasoned exactly why -- my vise has always been attached to the front left side of the bench top. :S

Because youre right handed,puts long pieces over bench when your working on them.
Or maybe you have a fear of falling off the end of your bench while youre working,this according to Dr Sigmund Rocks new book:Im nutz,but its ok! :laugh:

Hey thanks guys,

Pete I don't think you really want me to work on anything of yours, I just do my stuff out of necessity because I can't afford to pay anyone else to screw it up for me :silly:

I have been thinking about making a ramp system that flips up horizontally and can be broken down and stored away, stay tuned.

Yes it has a 20 amp ground fault system and I just thought that the vise looked good over there ,it also rotates 90 deg to the front .

I got the idea from a cabinet shop that I work at part time, everything is on wheels .

Everything is glued / screwed and solid as all get out, the casters are only rated to 880 lbs combined, I wish they were beefier but it was all I could get that day and should hold up if I'm careful.

It took about 2 1/2 sheets of 3/4 plywood to make.
