where to get finned case covers?

where could they be found or made or have made? any ideas...I see them for old CB's all the time just rarely for KZ'S....

Have a machinist buddy who can make them but because of the programming time, would need to do a minimum of 20 to get the price down to around $100 PLUS materials per cover.

I was just to Gainesville Raceway for the Prostar Finals and there was a guy down there that had a bunch of finned covers. I think he was from Duram or Durham (something like that) Racing. Also check on oldkawman.com. I think I remember seeing some on his site for sale. Good luck.

the points cover might work. just see if the parts numbers match for the stock covers in the kaw parts diagrams

it wouldnt work...our ignition covers are bolted verticaly....so if it could work the DOHC would be sideways as would the fins

haha dont I feel dumb....(Im a 650 guy too) srry....If all else fails, get a competent welder to build up the cover with strips of aluminum weld, then file/sand it to how you want it...
