I ran these cams in 1979-80 in a 1013 motor. They do need shim-under buckets, the Z1/KZ head and cam cover must be clearenced for these cams. They were a good small bore race cam at the time.

Send him an e-mail, any business discussion here ignites a firestorm :)

(not that we don't appreciate him hanging around, because we do).

.424 lift was a "Pro Stock Special". Now Pro Stock is .700 lift. How times have changed.

Jay these are the cams I have in my bike now.Could these have anything to do with my lack of bottom end torque.I also have a flat spot in my carbs at 4000 to 5000 rpm depending on my needle position.I havent been able to find a spot where the pull hard all the way through yet.More work to do.could this have anything to do with the cams or is it just carbs?I can feel the cams pull harder at 7000rpm.

Ape Jay said the 310 duration was likly measured at less than the standard .050.So the duration is probably actualy about 260 to 270.Just thought I'd update this post for future ref. If anyone else had these cams.B)
